Model binding dynamic collections. I

Some months ago had the chance to do some MVC for a client of my company. I will be writing about some of the (hopefully) interesting and helpful things I did. The requirements I inherited an existing MVC web application that managed (mostly CRUD-ly) a number of items and I was in charge of a completely new area (functional area, not MVC area) to edit existing entities as well as create new ones. Those entities contained a bunch of information, inside which was a list of related entities. So a container, contained its own information as well as a list of things with their own information.

The Console is fashionable again. Console apps are not going away and they are becoming less of a shame. Well, that is not entirely true. They are not shameful if you are not stealing from your client writing argument parsing code. Want to feel good with yourself and have peace of mind while writing those useful console apps? Ready, set, goto!

Egons plan Om en uge går det løs til Goto i Aarhus, det nye dobbelt A, hvor jeg skal blogge en masse. Jeg er ved at have gjort mig nogle tanker om hvad de tre dage skal gå med, da jeg efterhånden har lært at planlægning er vigtig men at man heller ikke skal lægge sig fast på et program alt for tidligt. Planen bliver at krydse mere end jeg plejer imellem forskellige spor, og bryde med at det normalt falder mig mest naturligt at gå efter de talks der handler om kode og .NET.
